What facilities do the apartments have?
All our apartments are equipped and furnished to offer you a sense of home. They all feature a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, tableware, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The apartment is also equipped with TV, AC/heater, a washing machine with a dryer program; also towels and bed linen are provided upon arrival. Our bathrooms offer shampoo and shower gel, as well as a hair dryer.
Is there daily cleaning of the apartment?
We clean the apartment just before you arrive and once every seven days with the change of bed linen, but you can hire this cleaning service with an extra cost. You just have to let us know when you make your reservation or even when you arrive.
What time is the earliest I can access check in and check out?
Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. If you need to leave your luggage you can do so in our storage lockers at no extra charge. Please note that early check-in and late check-out are upon request and availability, with extra cost.
Where do I pick up the apartment keys?
You can check in and get your apartment keys at the reception upon arrival. Outside the reception opening hours, you can do so through the automatic check-in machine in the building's lobby.
At our Riverfront Suites, Madrid Suites and Hamburg Suites properties, online check-in is available through our personalized mobile Guest App.
How can I book an apartment?
On www.ericvokel.com, in the panel on the upper right corner of the screen you’ll find a drop-down menu where you can choose the dates and the apartment you like and best suits what you’re looking for. You'll be able to make your reservation in 3 simple steps.
How can I cancel my reservation?
If you would like to cancel a booking or request a change in dates, it must be done in writing, by sending an email to this address book@ericvokel.com. Conditions may apply.
If your reservation was made through a third party (Booking, Airbnb, Expedia), please contact them first.
Why do you need my credit card?
We need a credit card number to guarantee the reservation. There will be no charge made to the credit card if the reservation is canceled before 12pm, 5 days prior to your arrival date, unless your reservation has been made at a special price with specific cancellation conditions.
Can I pay by card or with cash for my stay?
Upon arrival, you'll be able to pay at the reception in cash or using Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Outside reception hours, payment can only be done with a credit card at the automatic check-in machine located in the building's lobby.
Do I pay any special rates for children to stay?
Children from 0 to 3 years stay for free. We have cots available for you. If you need one, just let us know when you make your reservation.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs under 10kgs are allowed at the majority of our properties, with extra cost. Please inform us when booking to get more information.
Is there parking in the building?
We have on site parking available at our Eric Vökel Hamburg Suites and Eric Vökel Atocha Suites properties. Contact us for more information about rates and availability.
In certain establishments, we have agreements with nearby car parks and can provide you with further information about rate and conditions.
What do I do if I need any help during my stay?
During office hours there will always be Eric Vökel employees ready to help you out. Outside office hours, we’ll give you a phone number on arrival for any urgent requests.

How is the breakfast like?
When you book on our website, we will provide you with a free breakfast basket on the first day of your stay. You can pick up your breakfast kit at the reception anytime from 9 am to 5 pm and enjoy it in your apartment. The breakfast kit includes cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, milk, tea, bread, ham or cheese and something sweet (products may vary between buildings). If you have a food intolerance, please inform us via email at book@ericvokel.com.
Will I need an adapter for the plug sockets?
All our plug sockets are European. We recommend that you do bring an adapter for electronic devices from other regions.
